I don't want to always try to be educational in my blogs; sometimes I think I will just have to make observations on life. I have been hunting for a new rental for several weeks - most intensely the last few days and I just have to say that I have a whole new appreciation for housing hunting of any kind.......
I have been told a few untruths, I have been pressured - sometimes nicely, sometimes not! - and I have heard disparaging things about competitive properties. I have been bewildered by the complicated incentives and specials.
After just 3 visits- and visits entail telling your life situation, filling out an information card, and baring your personal financial details - I know I was exhausted. Let's not even talk about the physical process of the model tours and demonstrations!
I just want to say to all of my current and future customers that I have been reminded of how tough it is to visit new home communities and how tiring it can be to view anything more than 3 homes at a time; whether resale or new.
May I be more understanding, patient, gracious, and empathetic tomorrow!!!!
